Dr. Chmiel is a licensed psychologist with more than 20 years of clinical, forensic, and psychological assessment experience in correctional, hospital, military, and private practice settings. She earned her doctorate from Pepperdine University and completed a postdoctoral fellowship at Harvard Medical School, specializing in cognitive-behavioral treatment, psychological assessment, supervision, and research.
As a Qualified Medical Evaluator (QME), Dr. Chmiel performs comprehensive psychological evaluations within California's workers' compensation system. Her medical-legal work includes psychological assessment, impairment-related evaluation, and analysis of complex psychological and psychiatric issues.
